Geoeconomic Confrontation
Geoeconomic confrontation is currently the top global risk for 2026, according to the (INEF) Global risks report. This refers to the use of economic tools as international weapons including taxes, funding controls and access to critical resources, which can disturb global stock system and economic stability.
The report depicts the risk of rising rivalry, trade tension and technology competition. It also shows the economic decline an inflation Risk have surged. It is happening due to tensions between big countries, supply chain issue. I request the government to outline a step to safeguard Pakistan's economy amidst global geoeconomic tension.
