Gender equality in Pakistan

 Gender equality in Pakistan

Gender equality is a pressing issue in Pakistan, where women and girls face significant barriers to education, employment, and health. The female literacy rate is 46%, compared with 74% for males; only 22% of women participate in the labour force. This affects not only individuals but also national development. Violence against women is a significant concern in Pakistan.

To promote gender equality, we must ensure equal rights and opportunities for men and women. Women should have the freedom to make their own choices and decisions. This situation is alarming and needs immediate attention.
