Water crisis in Gwadar
Gwadar is facing a severe water crisis that is making life very difficult for its people. Most residents do not receive clean water through pipelines and must depend on water tankers for their daily needs. In some areas, people get water only once or twice a week, and many families spend a large part of their income just to buy drinking water. Although Gwadar is a coastal city, the seawater is not fit for drinking, and there are very few freshwater sources.
The main reasons for this crisis are poor water management, lack of storage facilities, and slow government action. However, the situation can be improved by building small dams, installing desalination plants, and repairing old pipelines. Thus, the government and local authorities must take quick and honest steps to ensure clean water for every household.
