Ceasefire in Gaza — A False Hope
A ceasefire was recently announced in Gaza, giving people a brief hope that the violence would finally end. Sadly, that hope was short-lived. Even after the ceasefire, Israeli forces continued bombing different areas of Gaza, killing innocent men, women, and children. The word “ceasefire” has lost its meaning when destruction still continues.
The people of Gaza are living in fear and pain. Their homes have been destroyed, hospitals are damaged, and food and medicine are running out. Every day brings new tragedies, and the world watches silently.
It is heartbreaking that many Islamic countries are only issuing statements but not taking real action to help Gaza. The unity that is needed to stop the violence is missing. Political interests, fear of conflict, and lack of strong leadership have made the Muslim world weak and divided.
True peace can never be achieved through words alone. The suffering of Gaza will only end when the world — especially Islamic nations — stands together with courage, justice, and humanity. The people of Gaza do not need promises; they need real support and protection.
