The urgent need to Address the Education Crisis in Balochistan

The urgent need to Address the Education Crisis in Balochistan

Balochistan the largest Province by area, remains one of the most underdeveloped regions in terms of educational infrastructure. Thousands of children especially girls in remote areas, still lack access to basic schooling. Many schools operate without proper building, trained teachers, electricity or clean drinking water.

Education is not about literacy just; it is about hope, empowerment, and breaking the cycle of poverty. When young people are deprived of quality education, their opportunities shrink and frustrations grow. The youth of Balochistan do not lack talent or ambition; they lack opportunity. It is the responsibility of policymakers, civil society, and national leadership to invest in sustainable educational reforms. Development cannot happen through words alone, it requires consistent action and accountability. I urge the concerned authorities to treate education in Balochistan as a national priority. The future of an entire generation depends on it.
