Corruption in Pakistan
Corruption in Pakistan is a complex issue. Pakistan ranked about 136th out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2020. Corruption costs Pakistan billions in lost revenue and hinders economic growth. Like this, Pakistan can’t stay more because of load of the taxes and many other things.
Weak institutions, lack of accountability, and poor governance contribute to corruption. Initiatives like the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and anti-corruption laws aim to tackle the issue. There must be improvement in country. If the conditions would be like this, then it will face many trouble and problems.
They must improve strengthening institutions and improving transparency, increasing accountability and punishing corrupt officials, promoting a culture of integrity and ethics.
