Asthma Disease

In Pakistan, asthma is a severe and expanding health issue. People with this chronic illness have trouble breathing because it impairs the lungs' airways. Over 10 million people in Pakistan have asthma, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), and the number is growing as a result of rising pollution and poor air quality. Asthma attacks are also brought on by the exceptionally high levels of air pollution in cities like Karachi and Lahore. The problem is exacerbated by the usage of fuels like coal, wood, and even home cleansers, which release dangerous chemicals into the atmosphere. In addition, dust, smoke, and pollen can trigger asthma attacks. Children are also especially vulnerable.

According to studies, one of the main reasons Pakistanis miss school is asthma. Serious health issues, such as decreased lung function and repeated hospital stays, can result from asthma if it is not properly treated and cared for. Finally, the government must act now to improve air quality and increase public understanding of asthma management.
