Smoking is a major problem in our country, with many people suffering from its consequences. The impact extends to families, where children often follow the smoking habits of their parents and miss out on education and a joyful childhood. Drug addiction further exacerbates the issue, leading addicts to target their own families when they lack money for drugs. This results in physical abuse of mothers, wives, and children, causing immense suffering. While smokers' families remain alive, they do not experience a happy or fulfilling life.
Blaming smokers is not a solution. We urgently need to establish rehabilitation centers in Turbat, similar to the one in Panjgur. These centers can play a crucial role in helping individuals recover and ultimately save future generations.
