Child labor

Child labor is a social evil around the entire globe. Child labor is not just a historical problem but also an ongoing one. It is still depriving children of their childhoods, limiting their access to education, and shortening their life expectancy, it affects the child mentally and physically in addition, the child labor act is being practiced around the world which seems a very bad sign. It is practiced in many well-developed countries including the UK, China,  Russia, India  Bangladesh, and many more which is a hard nut to be cracked additionally, child labor has existed rapidly throughout history.

Furthermore, according to researchers, this act is being generated due to some very heart-wrenching problems such as poverty, illiteracy to add, lack of educational and economic opportunities, high rate of population growth, unemployment, uneven distribution of wealth and social customs, and disregard for child rights. Also, it is being practiced due to not getting food, and lack of quality education.

As per as reports are concerned that at the beginning of 2020, 1 in 10 children aged 5 and over were involved in child labor worldwide – equating to an estimated 160 million children, or 63 million girls and 97 million boys. This is an alarming issue that needs to be addressed in no time. The effects of this are very hurtful more so, labor affects the country's development as a fact, that Sub _ Saharan Africa is the region where child labor is most prevalent and also the region where progress has been slowest and least consistent to add, some other countries where the child labor ratio is very high and where there is no any development because the child is the face of a country and they are the future of their country. If the future has already become dark, how that society deserves development. Some ways to stop this are to increase education for children, support the children, and economic growth should be increased and children should be engaged in sustainable development goals.

At last, I highly plead to the concerned international authorities to solve this as soon as possible otherwise many countries will not get well developed.
