Stop Child Labor

Most of the deprived children in rich Balochistan, especially in Turbat have been working in bazar, garages, autos and other different places and they hardly ever find something to eat and wear. They are compelled to work for their families because there is no source to live and continue their lives.

However, child labor is a rising crime and it has become an appalling issue in our country, province and as well society.

Furthermore, child labor affects on growth and development of the children whether mentally or physically.

According to Article 11(3) of the Constitution: “No child below the age of 14 years shall be engaged in any factory or mine or any other hazardous employment”. Besides, Article 25(A) states: “The state shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of 05 to 16 years in such manner as determined by law.”

But still, there is no action taken by the government against this issue. Surely, the youth is the backbone and builder of the nation. The government and concerned authorities should save these children and support them, helping them in the shape of providing free quality education and giving them their basic facilities.
