Lack of jobs
The lack of jobs is creating severe problems and is negatively impacting our youth. They observe that their elders, despite being highly educated and holding good degrees, remain unemployed. This discourages children and makes them believe that education has no value, so they lose interest in studying.
When young people see that jobs are given through references rather than talent, they stop believing in hard work. The lack of jobs also leads to an increase in crime and drug use. Many educated but jobless youths turn to drugs and street crime, which destroys families and disturbs the peace of the city.
Unemployment also causes mental health problems. Sitting at home jobless for years leads to depression and anxiety. Parents spend all their savings on their children’s education, and when they see them sad and ashamed, this stress breaks families.
Moreover, the lack of jobs is now affecting girls’ education. Families say that if their sons, despite having good degrees, are still unemployed, then what is the benefit of sending their daughters to study?
If our youth are given job opportunities, our city will progress and our country will become stronger. In conclusion, if the educated youth of Balochistan and Pakistan remain jobless, our nation will not be able to progress.
