Afghanistan and Pakistan border crisis
The bordar between Pakistan and Afghanistan which is about 2,640 km long has again became an area of serious fighting.pakistan says that militants from the Tehrik -e- Taliban Pakistan are using Afghan Land to attack Pakistan.The afghan government led by the Taliban,denies this and says it doesn't allow militants to use it's territory.
In early October 2025 the situation become very tense with heavy firing and airstrikes on both sides.pakistan said that 23 of it's soliders were killed,29 were injured and more than 200 militants were killed. Afghanistan however claimed that 58 Pakistani soliders died, after the clashes major border crossing like Torkhan and Chaman were closed.
The defence ministry also stopped cooperation with Afghanistan and warned that fighting could start again anytime militants attack: Pakistan says that militants from Tehrik -e- Taliban Pakistan use afghan land to attack inside Pakistan.
Weak border control:
The long and rough border called the Durand Line.is difficult to control allowing illegal movement of people and weapons and at the last. It is soluted that joint of both countries should work together to stop militants movement and share intelligence.
Regular meetings between both government can help to solve misunderstanding peacefully and use of modern technology ( check posts facing,camaras) to control illegal crossing. Economic cooperation increase trade and jobs apportunity.
