Balochistan, according to population the smallest province of Pakistan, unfortunately, facing lots of problems and, this is Among them. However, in the province there are many ghost teachers who don't perform duty but, receive their salary sitting at home. The future of the students are being ruined by such teachers. As per reports, approximately 15000 teachers were found to be ghost; many don't perform duty regularly. In addition to, the ghost teachers while teaching at private school give their best but, don't bat an eye towards educating governmental schools. It must be noted that majority of people are poor in Balochistan, they can't afford to send their kids to private schools.
According to the 1973 constitution of Pakistan in article _25 A says that: "state should provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to 16 years in such manner as may be determined by law". But, unfortunately, the state is failed to take any action against them. Somehow this illegal practice is continuing in connivance with some senior officials of the education department & political parties. Furthermore, this is the reason behind that in Balochistan illiteracy rate is high, day by day it is increasing and instead of getting developed, the province is going backward.
At last, it is a humble request to the government of Balochistan to fire the ghost teachers and rehire new teachers in order to save the students of Balochistan.
