1993 was the year when Israel and Palestine were very close to each other with peace. Then what happened after it that peace turned into violence and why are they fighting with each other? If we want to go to deep then we need to dive into the history, so here it is the history of both countries. History begins. You must have listened that how Adolf Hitler treated the Jews but do you know this cruelty against Jews was began thousands of year ago that Christians killed Jews in large numbers. Since then the Jews are being seen as a different ethnicity.
This made the Jews feel that they are not accepted in any corner of this country as if they and their lives do not have any value. However, Jews made a decision that if they wanted to survive then they must make a country for themselves. In 1806, an Astro Hungarian journalist, Theodore Herzl started a new politics movement which demanded a separate country for Jews. Later, in 1881, a large number of Jews migrated to Palestine and settled themselves there. They chose Palastine because it was the holiest place for Jews. That time there was no Israel and Gaza, the entire area was known as Palastine that fell under the Othman empire and under this empire the Muslims, Jews, and christians lived together peacefully.
In 1915, when world war 1 was going on, the British, french, and Arab revolutionaries were fighting with Othman empire. British played a very clever hand. They promised Arab revolutionaries, if they support them in fight against Othman empire, they would give them Palastine in return and Arab revolutionaries accepted to create a united Arab country who wanted a dependent country from Syria and Yamen. The Britishers promised same thing to Jews that they will help them to create their own Jewish country near Palastine. Meanwhile, in reality they had made a plan secret deal with french. The deal was "as soon as the Othman empire gets defeated we would divide the middle east between us after world war 1."
British from 1918 to 1948 took the control of Palastine under them (British government). At that time Hitler came in power in Germany and started killing Jews in very large numbers which made Jews flee from Germany to save their lives. Many of them went to Palastine, British government initially allowed them to enter but later stopped them.
Now from all the corners of the Palastine strikes were being started and everyone was demanding a separate country which made British government very uncomfortable because many parties came to existence and got membership of large people, British government could not handle that and left Palastine and Jews to form seperate countries for themselves.
In 1947, United Nations' partition plan was released, in the plans United Nations kept 57% of the area for Jewish country and 43% for Arab Palestinian country. Jerusalem was a historical and important area for the Muslims, Christians, and Jews. So, UN decided that it will be under international control. Jews accepted the plan and named their country Israel. This way, the Israel came in existence in 1948.
Arab were not pleased with this decision of UN and thought that British government again playing a clever hand and made a deal with Jews since the place from heredity was belonging to them and they got only 43% of it. So, they started a war against Israel which was called first Arab and Israeli war of 1948. Jews has no option but to fight because after a very long struggle they were successful to get a land for their own country and if they had lost this then they could not survive after that, with that motivation Jews won the war. After the war ended in 1949, the areas which were supposed to be Palastine according to the UN partition plan, Israel occupied several of these areas. The Gaza strip went to Egypt and the west bank went to Jordan which meant Palastine that the Palastine did not have a country any longer. More than 700,000 Palestinians had to leave their homes and seek refuge in Arab countries. This was named the 1948 Palestinian exodus.
After 19 years in 1967, the second Arab and Israeli war begun which lasted only for six days and won by Israel easily. The largest Egyptian peninsula got occupied by Israel after this war.
After that, Palastine made an organization named Palastine Liberation Organization (PLO) and went for the third Arab and Israeli war in 1973 but this time a peace treaty was signed between Egypt and Israel and Egypt became the first Arab country and after that peace treaty the entire Egyptian peninsula area which was captured by Israel was returned to Egypt. For this peace treaty both Israeli and Egyptian prime ministers for Nobel peace prizes for this successful peace treaty.
