Teaching is considered a noble profession but, sadly, in Balochistan, it has little respect, especially in Turbat where private teachers are being paid very little amount of money.
As we are aware that the minimum wages in Balochistan has been increased to Rs32,000 per month since July, but private schools in Kech district continue to pay much lower salaries to the teachers.
Additionally, many private schools charge hefty fees from the parents, but still, the teachers are getting as low salaries as 15,000. But without any doubt, their efforts are applauded by everyone, but their salary is peanuts. Thus, it is the responsibility of all private institutions to implement that decision as soon as possible because they deserve more.
