It was a rainy day, and everyone was enjoying themselves, going out with their
families for a trip. However, Abid was sitting in the garden, waiting for a
call. Suddenly, his mobile rang. "Where are you, Dad? We are
waiting," Abid said. "I am coming in just five minutes," replied his father. When his
father arrived, he was ready to go for the trip. His father changed out of his
office clothes and said, "Come on, let's go." When they arrived at the park, everyone was having a great time, and so was
Abid. Suddenly, Abid noticed a girl sitting in a corner, looking very sad. Abid
approached her and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you so sad?" The
girl replied, "It's nothing."
Abid reassured her, saying, "Don't be shy about sharing your pain with
others. Consider me your friend." The girl opened up, saying, "The
world is beautiful, but I can't see it." Abid responded, "Even if you can't see it, you can imagine it. Don't let
people discourage you." The girl replied, "I want to imagine, but
people don't let me." Abid asked, "How?" The girl explained that
whenever she went somewhere, people made fun of her, saying she couldn't enjoy
it because she was blind. They questioned why she wasted her time coming there.
The girl started crying and asked, "If I'm blind, do I not have the right
to live? Do I not have the right to enjoy life?"
Moved by her pain, Abid shed tears as he replied, "LET OTHERS BARK."
He explained that no one should let others dictate their happiness. Life is
unique, and one should not depend on others. The girl found motivation in
Abid's words. Abid's father called him to go home, and he bid farewell to the girl, saying,
"See you soon, Inshallah." He left.
MORAL: The moral of this story is not to listen to others and to depend on yourself.
"If you let the dog bark at you, it might come to attack you. But if you
throw a stone before it barks, it will stop. In today's world, people can be
like dogs."
