Child Marriage

   Recently a very shameful incident took place in Sukkur. A 16-year-old girl was married by the Force of her parents to a 50 years old man. It is a really big injustice or a kind of cruelty done to the girl by her parents. The marriage of underage girls has several negative consequences on their psychological and reproductive health. 

   The government must take action in this regard by arresting the parents of those girls who attempt to get married as children, as well as the adult grooms. Furthermore, awareness is also needed to highlight the importance of waiting for adulthood until marriage.
