Once there was a girl named Mehr. She was eighteen years old and lived in a small village with her mother. She was too much interested in reading and she wanted to bring a change to her village. Unfortunately, she was a poor girl and there was no educational institution in the village from where she could learn.
Every time Mehr went outside of her home and taught all the small kids with her weak knowledge. Every weekend one postman came from city to village. As usual, one weekend the postman came to the village, and he saw that girl was teaching the kids. Postman smiled at the kids and went from there. The next weekend again postman saw the girl and called her and said, listen, can I ask you something? Mehr replied yes uncle. Postman said dear girl why you are teaching them outside, there is no institution for reading. Mehr replied to him no uncle in our small village there is no institution for us. I want to bring a change to my village but there is no one to help me.
After listening her postman pitied her. Postman said I always went to the city and came here you can come with me in the city to complete your education and then teach them in a better way. There are lots of institutions in the city. Mehr replied to him thanks uncle for it but I had no money to come with you and how I can read without money it's impossible for me. My mother works in other’s houses to earn money for us. After listening this postman became worried about it and said I have another idea.
I have a shop of wood which is closed as I am unable to run it along with my job. I offer you to run that shop and I will pay you. By this, we both would be helped. Mehr happily accepted the offer and she was very happy. She went home and shared the whole story with her mother who became happy too. Next weekend, Mehr started working in the shop. After five to six months, she got some money that she spent on her studies and made her dream true by opening a small educational institution in her village with the help of the postman.
