Child Marriage

Child marriage is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. It is a practice that has been going on for centuries and it is still happening today. However, children, who are married at young ages, are not able to grow up and pursue their dreams. As they are forced to take on adult responsibilities but they are not mentally and physically capable of that thing.

The effects of child marriage are devastating girls who are married at a young age,  are more likely to experience domestic violence, abuse, and maternal mortality. They are also less likely to receive, and education which limits their opportunities for the future. Child marriage is a violation of human rights. It is a practice that should be abolished.

The government should take action to end child marriage by implementing laws and policies that protect children from this harmful practice.
