Judgment against gender
has remained a major social problem in Pakistan. As a result, women are often
left out of the economic and educational sectors. There are many social
problems for Pakistani girls and women including, forced or early marriages,
public harassment, acid attacks, and rape. Female discrimination is present due
to socio–cultural norms in Pakistan. Rural females are suffering more in terms
of getting an education. Government seats are mostly occupied by males.
Besides
this, Pakistan was already among the worst four nations worldwide in
female development metrics even before COVID-19 and the situation did not
change even after the pandemic. In the global gender gap report 2022, Pakistan
was ranked 14th in a survey of 146 counties. Furthermore, as a
result, we have to stop it for the enhancement of the country and its progress.
