He is a living legend of the western era. Gibran died in 1931.
The book started with the emerging Lines one day Khalil Gibran visited his friend's home and he was an old man who was sitting, beside his friend. The old man said to Khalil Gibran that he liked my friend, he introduced himself and the old man replied you are the son of my bosom and best friend. The old man was Farris Effendi.
Furthermore, the old man invited him to come to his home for dinner. He went to his home. He saw a beautiful girl whose name was Selma. He fell in love with her. His all nights and days had gone like beautiful and chirpy dreams. When they had gone to their dinner. After some minutes as Bishop came. Bishop was the messenger of their village. The messenger said to Farris Effandi come here. I have a message for you. He left Kahlil and Selma. He went with Bishop. Khalil Gibran and Selma both were together, and they talked thousand of words about love.
Both fell in love with each other. After Bishop and Selma's father came. Selma's father told her now you are going to leave me. Did she wonder what was he saying? He said Selma, you are going to marry someone. When Khalil Gibran listened to those words he became worried also she was worried too. She married and after some days her father died, also her child died after that also she died. Therefore, Khalil Gibran told that his wings were broken.
