Parental involvement in children's education

Parents are the ones on whose shoulders all the responsibility of molding a child lies. Parental involvement is highly beneficial to their children which creates a sense of ownership. Parents, formally or informally must be involved in the educational process and should be ready to assist their children according to their capacities. Small children in small classes need special attention from parents to help them get ready for school, do their homework, and support them for tests to get better grades. While, elder children in higher classes need care and consideration not only for their schools, colleges, and university lives but also require attention for their personal life.

In addition, parental negligence in the educational process doesn't only destroy the educational career but also drags the children to unpleasant and menacing evils which can be in the shape of drug addiction, and robbery as well they become a burden for their own parents. Moreover, educational life at an immature level is very sensitive that needs time from parents to ensure security and stand as a pillar wherever needed. Parents are the first teacher of a child who provides the earliest education to them. Children spend their maximum time at home with their parents if parents are educated and caring they can easily mold the life of their them.

As it is wonderfully quoted by William Wordsworth "A child is a father of a man". It's elaborated that whatever a child learns at a basic level, and however, he acts and behaves in early life, he is likely to be that in adulthood. That's why it's affirmed that parents should give utmost importance to their children at an early age. Parents' characters, ways of living, behavior, and action are highly essential and more likely to be imitated by the children. In the process of education, parents must not do idleness, they should ask for their school hours, their peers, teachers' behaviors, and learning contents.

These activities don't only help children to get more benefits from education, but also encourage them in their school lives. It's often witnessed that children with care at home, perform better at school, and they feel confident and comfortable during their academic careers. Children are like flowers, they need care, time and struggles to stay fresh. As the world is rapidly developing in terms of science and technology, medicine and education, communication, and information technology.

In this very critical time, parents must stand side by side with their children's education to address many problems and promote a culture for reading and learning.
