Deforestation

   An act of cutting down, destroying, or making flat a forested
area on land is termed deforestation. Sometimes, deforestation can occur due to
natural causes. But most of the time the causes are anthropogenic.
Deforestation has severe impacts on the environment and other related factors. 

  Besides this, it has severe impacts on the climate and living species. It
destroys the overall ecological, balance causing irreversible damage too.
Finally, forests are home to nearly 80% of biodiversity on land. So, we have to
do plantation more and more.
