In order to provide relief to the people of Gwadar residing in adjoining villages, last-day waterwheels have been provided. The initiative is taken in order to avoid carrying water either by shoulder or donkey. However, this initiative is appreciable to some extent, but it isn't the permanent solution to water issues in Gwadar and its surrounding.
Instead, the government could have utilized better policies in order to ensure the provision of water to the people of these villages through pipelines connected to either Sawad Dam or Ankara Dam. Indeed, it is good to lessen the burden and difficulties of citizens, but the constitution doesn't allow further torture of the people for the sake of water.
Therefore, this measure, for the time being, is appropriate, but the government needs to proceed toward permanent solutions to water scarcity by introducing long-term policies for Gwadar and its citizens.
I hope the government reconsiders its policies in the best interest of the public.
